What a great night we all had and a great success for our club. In front of an audience of over 90 people the Nelson Twins had all and sundry laughing all the way through while introducing Evan and Pommy Johnson who also had us all in stitches. The club was also able to raise valuable funds to assist running the cricket programs and keeping Junior subs to a minimum. Those that were there will be talking about this for ages. To those who missed out, well I’m sorry but you missed out on an awesome nights entertainment, But don’t despair, this proved to be such a success and enjoyed by all we are already looking toward another comedy night featuring the Nelson Twins and co. for next season. Well done to Brendan Doyle and Justin Nelson for organising the night and Club Sunbury for making the facilities available.

SCC website – 2015 in review
The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2015 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
A New York City subway train holds 1,200 people. This blog was viewed about 7,100 times in 2015. If it were a NYC subway train, it would take about 6 trips to carry that many people.

Milo In2Cricket update
MiloIn2Cricket update
Hi Everyone,
Just a few things:
1. Just letting you know that Cricket Victoria have stuffed up the orders for the kids packs, for some reason I received our centre equipment that I ordered on Tuesday but they haven’t sent out any of the packs that I ordered last Friday. So unfortunatly Coreys bag, along with about 10 others, wont be there. They have apologised and they were sorting it out first thing this morning.
2. The BBQ will be running again for the parents and for the players, the Cost is $2 for a Snag and $2 for a Drink.
3. There has been some confusion about the start time, we would like to apologise for that, but as of next week the U11’s start at 5.30PM so start times will align up nicely.
4. There maybe opportunities for the returning players to play a game in the U11’S, if your child might be interested please let me know as we are currently about 3 players short from having 2 Under 11’s teams.
5. New registrations are now closed. Thanks for the response but our numbers are nearly at 60 kids, which is fantastic however we can only cater for so many and the program is already well underway.
See you all tonight, and be prepared for the tap on the shoulder for a hand with the activities tonight.

Junior registrations are now closed
Junior registrations are now closed
We have had such a fantastic response to our Junior program this season that we have been forced to close registrations to new players.
SCC would like to welcome all new players and families that have already signed up and have attended training and matches. The season matches are well under way and currently all our Junior teams have ample numbers.
If you are a parent or care giver attending a match and would like to assist or help out for the day, don’t be shy, step forward and introduce yourself to our coach. We pride ourselves on being a family oriented club so that means we like to see the whole family getting involved.
Milo cricket is just about to start so we are still accepting registrations, but be quick.

SCC is excited to announce the social program for season 2015/16.
These events are expected to be well represented by all members and freinds of SCC. That means members from the senior group and also junior parents and freinds. This is how we are able to keep cricket affordable for all, the better we can support these events the better we can cater for our cricket teams.
