Past players

Sunbury Cricket Club Past Players

SCC is interested in keeping in contact with all past players, making them feel welcome to attend matches and functions through out the season.

There is a rich and successful history to be proud of and there is nothing better than to get together and relive past triumphs and all matters cricket on and off the field. It is also important to share these stories with current senior and junior players enriching the club experience and promoting the ongoing successes of the future.

Previous past player functions have included the Twenty/20 Legends vs Current player match held during the 2010/11 season and the 2012/13 SCC Reunion night celebrating the 1986/87 A Grade Premiership and the 1992/93 GDCA domination.

  1. I’d forgotten about that article from country week. Doesn’t seem like 20 years ago. Where in the world is Warney?

  2. Now I think about it you, me & Warney shared a lot of good times incl. Bendigo Country weeks. A lot has happened in all our lives in twenty years. Thats why a reunion is a great idea. Pity Whitey can’t make it, maybe next time. Warney now lives in Lancefield, I’m sure he won’t mind me sending you his contact, check FB.

  3. I would love the chance to catch up, if it was possible to be notified of the reunion events. Cheers Mark O’Sullivan
