Past players

Sunbury Cricket Club – Past Players

SCC prioritises maintaining connections with our former players, creating a welcoming atmosphere for them to join us at matches and other events throughout the season. With a storied history of success, we take great pride in coming together to reminisce about past victories and all aspects of cricket, both on and off the field. It is equally important to share these stories with current senior and junior players, enriching the club experience and fostering ongoing success for the future.

Past player events have included the Twenty/20 Legends vs. Current Players match during the 2010/11 season, as well as the 2012/13 SCC Reunion Night, which celebrated the 1986/87 A Grade Premiership and the 1992/93 GDCA domination.

We extend a warm invitation to all past players to attend the final 1st XI home game of each season. Additionally, we host end-of-season functions in our clubrooms on the same evening, which have proven to be entertaining and well-attended events.

  1. I’d forgotten about that article from country week. Doesn’t seem like 20 years ago. Where in the world is Warney?

  2. Now I think about it you, me & Warney shared a lot of good times incl. Bendigo Country weeks. A lot has happened in all our lives in twenty years. Thats why a reunion is a great idea. Pity Whitey can’t make it, maybe next time. Warney now lives in Lancefield, I’m sure he won’t mind me sending you his contact, check FB.

  3. I would love the chance to catch up, if it was possible to be notified of the reunion events. Cheers Mark O’Sullivan
