SCC Junior Committee – formation meeting

The Sunbury Cricket Club (SCC) invites parents and caregivers of players in the Junior and Blast programs to a meeting to form a subcommittee to assist in managing the SCC Junior program. The club seeks input from the SCC Juniors community to better address team needs, allocate funds effectively, and improve communication.
The new subcommittee will assist with tasks such as PlayHQ administration, social media announcements, and organising social functions and game day duties with support from the SCC Committee and the club as a whole.
We have identified several roles for which we will be accepting nominations.
These include:
- Juniors’ Secretary – PlayHQ Administration and email correspondence
- Juniors’ Media – Posting announcements and club news on social media platforms
- Juniors’ Social – Functions and fundraising activities
- General Committee – Assist with the above
We are seeking expressions of interest for the following:
- Junior Team Managers and Scorers – Managing game day duties and score uploading to Play HQ
- Junior Coaches – Training and Coaching
The SCC Executive Committee supports this initiative to enhance service delivery and participant enjoyment. All interested parents and caregivers are encouraged to contact the club email with your nomination or expression of interest, or simply attend the meeting.
Prerequisites for committee members include WWCC and adherence to the club and association Policy For Safeguarding Children & Young People.
