Senior Presentation Night Season 2022-23

Players have been honoured at last nights SCC Senior Presentation Night. Highlights included the naming of the Club Champion Award  in recognition of Paul Webber enduring record and the induction to the Hall of Fame of Brad Hunter.

It came as a surprise to Paul to have the award named in his honour however all on the night agreed is well justified in recognition of his  playing history at our club extending almost 40 years. Since his debut at senior level Paul has played in all 1st XI Premiership teams since and has been an integral part of our playing group by displaying enthusiasm in practicing his skill and maintaining a high level of fitness. Paul is role model and popular member of our club showing a competitive, positive and cheerful manner. 

The inaugural Paul Webber Club Champion Award for most aggregate points was presented by Paul to Jason McGann.

Last night Brad Hunter was inducted into the Sunbury Cricket Club Hall of Fame. He was also presented the 1st XI bowling award and Dean Surkitt Medal for Best and Fairest. Brad is not only a highly decorated player and former senior coach he has also been in more recent times heavily involved in the junior program and has a keen interest in the further development of our players of the future.
